Writing my next script I am researching the Nazi takeover of Germany. The similarities with present day USA are striking. Hitler formed a paramilitary force that used violence to intimidate the public. Trump has formed ICE which does the same. Hitler used selective justice and pardoned his violent SA Stormtroopers. Trump pardoned his violent Jan 6 supporters. Hitler used his majority to ensure he could rule by decree. Trump uses his majority to rule by executive order. And the list goes on.
The current US government shutdown was exposing the Republicans for wanting to destroy healthcare, while putting maximum pressure on Trump. The longer it went on, the more certain it was, voters would vote against this regime in 2026. Because no one wants a government that does not govern. But then 8 Democratic senators caved and voted with Republicans to help Trump get out of his mess. Strategically, this must really be the worst move by Democrats in 2026. https://edition.cnn.com/2025/11/10/politics/democratic-unity-fractures-government-reopen
Trump shows up at a football stadium in Washington to watch the Commanders VS Lions game, and the crowd is having none of that. Brutal. Multiple videos in this thread.
Do we want to work for Google for free? I feared this day was coming — this is the first site I see closing down, because Google has stolen their content. The owners of this cycling inspiration site asks: What is the reason to continue creating content, when Google just steals it and serves it as AI answers to keep all the traffic to itself? It seems our EU politicians are soundly asleep at the bike handlebar. https://www.holland-cycling.com/blog/321-holland-cycling-com-stops-in-2026 Via @npub1cq5w...77g2.
This video shocked me. YouTube is killing its own content creators by allowing accounts that illegally copies and republishes other people’s content. Christophe Haubursin looked into this, and called up one of the copycats, who was running 6 channels and had received several YouTube awards… for stealing content from other channels. I often spend 3-4 weeks making a video. The copycats steel them and reupload in 10 minutes. Who can compete with that?
I suspect this clip will be part of the trial against Donald Trump, once the regime falls. Here Trump admits that it is his intention to kill criminals without trial, which is against the law. A journalist has just asked him, if he wants Congress to declare war before he starts killing people (the legal way), and he just says “no”.
The Trump regime has now attacked 16 vessels in international waters, killing 66 individuals whom the regime suspected were criminals. 66 people. Gone. No investigation. No arrests. No charges. No trial. Just murdered. Because it makes Trump feel good.
Trump’s “America first” politics: Spends 40 billion dollars bailing out Argentina, then claims poor American’s cannot have food stamps, because his government has to “stay liquid”.
This is the most thought-provoking video I have seen this week: United 24 interviews a group of international soldiers fighting in Ukraine — A Briton, an Irishman, an American, an Australian. It is REALLY difficult to watch their statements about the importance of this war, and not question the political decision to NOT have our professional soldiers on the ground. I hope this important video gets a gazillion views. image
This thread is worth reading if you are a Google docs user. Short version: When you make a document in Google Docs, Google replaces all your hyperlinks with links that allows Google to monitor the interactions of everyone you share your document with. This hidden link replacement can potentially be used to build a model of your professional relations, where people who interact more with your content are considered a stronger relation. Think about the implications.
