It typically takes a couple of hours to make good quality #subtitles for my show, which sounds like a lot, but that is because it takes a lot of time to time them right and to figure out how to break the text in a way that makes the most sense. But I gladly do it, because many use them. In the previous episode, 31.7 percent had subtitles turned on, and that is 28,434 people. If you ever make a YouTube video, add subtitles. 📺

US journalism in 2025: Picture 1: Fox News simply CANNOT figure out how many arrests were made — it is "unclear" — at the rally they chose to cover (because teargas was deployed). Picture 2: Washington Post journalists have applied a revolutionary research technique where they ask the police if there were any rally-related arrests, and the police replies, "no". (But of course, if Fox News started doing this, their whole narrative could be shattered, and we can't have that…)

Mike Johnson and other key Republicans trying to mischaracterize the No Kings protests as a "hate America rally", really shows how scared they are, that the American people will now demonstrate that the majority is not behind the fascist Trump regime. The more who turn out Saturday, the more the movement against fascism will grow. For the sake of the future of US democracy, I truly hope we see millions. 🇺🇸🗽

Trump now says he will meet Putin in Hungary… a country which is still a signatory to the International Criminal Court, by which Putin is a wanted criminal. Orban has announced, Hungary will withdraw from the ICC, but the withdrawal is not legally in effect until June 2, 2026. So I wonder how the EU will respond if a member state rolls out the red carpet for the enemy this way. And how is Putin even going to get to Hungary — a country landlocked between Ukraine, Serbia, and 5 EU countries.

Freedom of the press has been enshrined in the US Constitution since the 1st Amendment was adopted in 1791. And as a testament to this freedom, respected news media have had offices at The Pentagon since the complex was built in 1943. And yet, when the press now leaves because Pete Hegseth violates the 1st Amendment by demanding they let him control what they write, he casually responds with a “wave goodbye” emoji. Only an ignorant fool would not realize the gravity of this moment in history.

They were only expressing a desire to gas political opponents. They were not stating facts about Charlie Kirk like some vile Jimmy Kimmel type. #RepublicanLogic

The US administration: We are the wealthiest country on earth. Also the US administration: We have screwed over the average Americans so badly by accumulating all the wealth with the richest few, that we are going to pretend that the US cannot afford to save the climate.

The pictures now coming out of Gaza are truly shocking, and I ask all Israelis: “Who is going to pay for what your government has done?” This is not the aftermath of a “hunt for terrorists”. This is the aftermath of indiscriminate bombings. Your politicians let this happen. So who is now going to pay for this? Will Netanyahu pay this out of his own pocket? Does this fall on the Israeli tax payers? Who do you expect to pay?
