Very interesting photos from Danish photographer Malene Thomsen. This sunday, she came across the rare phenomenon of bioluminescent dinoflagellates in the water at the eastern beach on the island of Mors. Dinoflagellates are marine plankton, so they are single-celled organisms and therefore extremely small.
