We think the US is falling apart because of Trump's reelection. But Trump is just a symptom of a bigger problem: The US is falling apart as a result of the US allowing an insane wealth distribution, where the rich pay no taxes, because their companies are offshored and now have revenues larger than countries. This has allowed the malignant to buy both media and social media, which has allowed them to hack democracy by polluting the minds of the uneducated, which THEN has gotten Trump elected.

While Trump is claiming Putin is a nice guy and Ukraine and Russia should be friends, Vance is claiming Greenland must be annexed by the US, because the Russians are coming to take it. Apparently it is hard to both lie and keep up the consistency.

Denmark has not found it relevant to spend tax payer money on a large military base on Greenland. Instead Denmark gives a yearly grant of 620 million dollars to the 57,000 Greenlanders, which is spent on everything in the Greenland budget including having free healthcare, free access to universities in Denmark AND a well functioning police force. Vance now abuses that fact to claim that Denmark has not kept Greenland safe, and therefore Greenland should become American.

Why is Greenland called Greenland when it is white and full of ice? Greenland is inhabited by the native people called Kalaallit, and they call their country Land of the Kalaallit, which in their language is Kalaallit Nunaat. But in 935 when the Norse explorer Erik the Red discovered Kalaallit Nunaat, he likely arrived on the coastline in the south where Greenland turns green in the summer when the ice melts.
