Again today, my Mastodon account is followed by dozens of new anonymous accounts, and they all follow exactly 40 other accounts. @Renaud Chaput I do not want to be reading tea leaves here, but can you understand my concern that this could be a bot net system generating spam profiles in bulk? Can you think of any technical explanation why I am seeing so many similar accounts following exactly 40 other accounts?
