The US has pressured Ukraine into accepting a 30 day ceasefire to negotiate a permanent peace in Ukraine. One likely scenario is this: Putin is running out of resources, so he will accept and send a delegation demanding that Ukraine accepts all of Russia’s terms, that all of the 5 occupied oblasts of Ukraine are now Russian. Ukraine will say no to having their land stolen this way, and Trump will then claim that it is all Ukraine’s fault, that peace was not achieved.

The Foreign Policy Committee of The Kingdom of Denmark today agreed to send Danish soldiers to Ukraine as part of an international peacekeeping force, if and when a peace agreement were to be achieved. Interestingly, two of the 17 members of the Committee are elected in Greenland, so while Trump is threatening Greenland’s sovereignty and helping Vladimir Putin destroy Ukraine, Greenland is part of the decision to send soldiers to protect Ukraine.
