I just saw the most convincing, elaborate Bitcoin scam ever:
On the front page of YouTube, a “Live Stream” of Bitcoin 2025 had Michael Saylor onstage saying his company was donating $200mm to promote Bitcoin. All you had to do was scan the QR code on screen, send BTC, and they would send you double back.
It looked and sounded legitimate. The whole thing was AI generated.
Be careful out there.
