With a couple of days of delay, the @European Commission just hit #Google with a €2.95B fine for abusing its dominant position on the online ads market. 👏 After some bad press according to which the Commission had delayed the fines to appease Trump, this is a welcome development. Google now has 60 days to propose remedies. (I had hoped the Commission would order a breakup directly but hey....)
