Utah campus open-carry rule under fresh scrutiny after Charlie Kirk shooting
HB 128, passed in August, allows people with the proper permit to openly carry firearms on college campuses
 Utah recently adopted a demand of the right-wing gun nuts: a law to authorize people with a permit to visibly carry guns on college campuses. Since the permits are rarely actually checked, this means almost anyone can get away with doing it. This clearly aided Kirk's killer.
