Open to Debate is a fantastic show that holds old school, formal, moderated debates on contentious issues. It's recorded live with an audience, broadcast on NPR radio in the US, and available as a podcast. Back in 2023 they hosted on a debate on the moot 'Is Wokeness Killing Comedy?', at a comedy club, with 2 comedians as debaters and another as guest moderator. Insightful, as usual, and very entertaining;

I need to start listening to music again. I mean really *listening* to it. Not playing it in the background while I read or write or cook. But putting on tunes and focusing my attention on the songs, vibing with the lyrics, really feeling whatever comes up if I resonate with it. When I used to collect music on lumps of physical media, I had to occasionally cull the stacks to make space for new stuff. So every recording I obtained got 3 solids listens. If I didn't love it after that, it went.

Now I'm #listening *again* to Rebuffering, a collaboration by Tizzer and krumpet_love, recorded in 2020;

“rebuffering” by Various Artists is from the December 26th, 2020 release “netBloc Vol. 54: Goodbye 2020”

I listened to this about 4-5 times after discovering it last night. Tizzer's BandCamp reveals them as more of a prog metal experiment. But this track is brooding psychedelic rock, like something from Radiohead's later albums. (1/2) #music #rock #psychedelic #Tizzer #KrumpetLove
