A satire section for my blog about standard industry methodology and framing for technical subjects?
“I player OW2 with my wife. I’m using Linux, she’s using Windows. I had 2 more frames than she did!”
“Out of 3 games on Windows and 3 on Linux I observed a 1.5ms better latency. Linux competitive advantage?”
“I tried running Adobe Creative Something on Linux by double clicking on the exe. You’d be shocked what happened (Linux still not ready for desktop)”
It always feels a bit rough around the edges when I try holiday wishes and less personal than some of the greetings I get, but honestly? Just enjoy your time. And take the chance to recuperate. That’s really all that matters :)
The first time I read about this I thought it’s satire considering Microsofts desperate pushes to justify the investment and hype in their broken AI products.
Running #bazzite with KDE - disabling adaptive sync and enabling screen tearing is one button in the settings and Overwatch 2 feels as it does on Windows.
After remembering the correct Proton GE version and some shader compiling. Don’t use latest, 12.25 works well.
Not sure if Gnome still doesn’t implement the Wayland protocols or just doesn’t have a UI for these two options. But the difference is noticeable.
Right now I’d recommend KDE for anyone who “just wants to game”.
Because Lego being lazy and there not being a super / hyper car this year I unpacked my Arduino project with LED matrix.
I hope whoever at Lego is in charge is happy. You made me get a soldering iron. Any potential burn wounds and fires are now officially on you :)
I feel this post. I still have an open bug where the policy states “please send us an email if you don’t have PGP to encrypt your report and we will respond with a secure way to send your reports”
Never heard back. Bug still exists. I’m just far less inclined than JR to follow up and spend my free time on this.
If you want to play security theatre be my guest, not my job to entertain this.
Second dbrand glow in the dark skin on the MacBook Air and it still doesn’t close properly. We even cut it right above the trackpad because dbrand support assumed it’s an issue at the hinge.
The support is super helpful and I like the look and feel of the sticker. Third time is the charm for sure :)
