Wild invasive hogs, or feral pigs, were introduced to Florida primarily by European settlers in the 1500s. Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto brought domestic pigs to the area as a food source during his expedition. These pigs escaped or were released into the wild, and over time, their populations grew rapidly, adapting to the local environment and becoming feral. Additional introductions occurred in later centuries, including by hunters and farmers who brought in pigs for various purposes, further contributing to the population. In terms of ecological importance, wild hogs can help in some ways, such as by rooting through the soil, which may contribute to seed dispersal or aerate the soil. However, wild hogs’ destructive nature and impact on Florida's ecosystems and agriculture far outweigh any potential benefits. Wild pigs can devastate crops, threaten native species by competing for food and spreading diseases, and damage sensitive ecosystems. The harm these hogs cause is significant, and managing their population is critical to protecting Florida's environment and economy. That being said, if you have never shot mammal before it can be disturbing. This is especially true if you are on a canned hunt where the dogs corner the hog and it is looking at you, knowing that it’s in its final moments. Also, the meat doesn’t taste very good if you’re used to eating domesticated pork. You may consider having a guide take you on a hog hunt if you are into that type of toxic masculinity. #InvasiveSpecies #FerralHogs image

Here's a Nostr post discussing the idea that computer code is protected by the Constitution as speech: --- In 1999, the *E. Gary Davis* case set a precedent by recognizing that computer code is a form of expression, thus deserving First Amendment protection. Code, much like written or spoken words, can convey ideas, arguments, and innovation, making it an essential part of the digital landscape. When developers write code, they're essentially communicating instructions that can shape technology, culture, and society. In a world driven by digital interactions, limiting code's expression could infringe on fundamental freedoms. In short, computer code isn't just a tool – it's speech that shapes the future. This is why it's critical to uphold the notion that code, as a form of expression, should enjoy protections under the Constitution. #FirstAmendment #FreedomOfExpression #Bitcoin image
The 6 Principles of Influence (by Robert Cialdini) Reciprocity – People feel obligated to return favors. By giving something first, you create a sense of indebtedness, increasing the likelihood of a positive response. Commitment & Consistency – Once people commit to something, they are more likely to stick to it. Small initial commitments lead to bigger ones due to the desire to remain consistent with their actions. Social Proof – We look to others to guide our decisions. If we see others doing something, especially in uncertain situations, we're more likely to follow suit. Authority – We are more likely to trust and follow experts or authority figures. The appearance of expertise or credentials influences our decisions. Liking – People are more influenced by those they like. Building rapport, showing similarity, and giving compliments can increase influence. Scarcity – Perceived scarcity increases value. When something is limited or in short supply, we place a higher value on it, making us more likely to act quickly.

The Second Amendment was designed to protect citizens from tyranny. The Founders knew an armed populace was a check on government power, ensuring freedom could be defended if rulers overstepped their bounds. #Bitcoin is like the 2A for finances. Stay Sovereign my friends. image
In the book The Richest Man in Babylon, chapter 10 teaches us a crucial lesson: work should be seen as a trusted ally, not a burden. It offers the opportunity to build wealth and secure freedom. In today’s fast-paced world, we often view work as something we endure just for a paycheck. However, if we shift our perspective and approach it as a means to grow, learn, and ultimately gain the freedom we desire, work becomes a powerful tool for success. Embrace the grind, stay dedicated, and let your work pave the way to the life you truly want. Make work your partner in achieving your goals. #WorkToStackSats #WorkWithPurpose #FreedomThroughWork #TheLuckiestMan
The Personality Ethic focuses on external traits and techniques—such as appearance, charm, or social skills—that can create the illusion of effectiveness and success. It emphasizes "quick fixes" and surface-level improvements. In contrast, the Character Ethic is rooted in deeper principles of integrity, honesty, and moral character. It advocates for a fundamental transformation of one’s inner being, emphasizing growth from the inside out. True, lasting success comes from aligning our actions with core values, while personality traits alone are temporary and do not create enduring influence or trust.
