I used Choice by Kingdom Trust (now Digital Trust) to set up an IRA where I could hold my own keys.
This was roughly 3 years ago when they were one of the only companies doing it.
The execution fees they are taking on the backend of a sale are criminal. Add in the taxes for a distribution and I’m getting ragdolled all around over here for simply trying to get access to my money.
