ironically the storm was actually in New Jersey and not in Florida not serious enough to damage any buildings etc. but according to my googling it was high enough wind to make landing aircraft dangerous don't know if flights were actually cancelled or not but i wasn't going to risk it regardless rather than sit in Florida and wait for the storm to end i rented a car and drove home if you do this make sure to ask before hand whether you can return at another location. i specifically requested to return in New Jersey. SIXT wanted to charge like $900 ( in addition to normal car rent ) for returning in NJ so i had to go with Enterprise. View quoted note →
