15 September 1929 | Polish Jewish woman Halina Birenbaum was born in Warsaw. She survived the Warsaw ghetto, Majdanek, #Auschwitz (no. 48693), Ravensbrück & Neustadt-Glewe camps. In 1947, she emigrated to @npub1qmml...9nn3. A poet & writer. Today she turns 96. Read "There is my soul".

15 September 1912 | A Czech Jewish woman, Gertruda Steindlerová, was born in Liberec. She was deported to #Auschwitz from the Theresienstadt ghetto on 16 October 1944 with her daughter Eva (b. 1936). They were both murdered in a gas chamber.

15 September 1931. | A Dutch Jewish boy, Joseph Karel Vos, was born in Kempen. He arrived at #Auschwitz on 26 November 1942 in a transport of 709 Jews deported from #Westerbork. He was among 667 of them murdered in gas chambers after the selection.

15 September 1932 | A Romanian Jewish boy Solomon (Shlomo) Katz was born. In 1944 he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber.

13 September 1930 | A French Jewish girl, Lucienne Biabylen, was born in Paris. She arrived at #Auschwitz on 26 August 1942 in a transport of 1,000 Jews deported from Drancy.
