She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt ghetto on 15 December 1943. She did not survive.
22 August 1925 | German Jewish boy Erich Günther Gutmacher was born in Berlin. He emigrated to the Netherlands.
In August 1942 he was deported to #Auschwitz and registered in the camp after the selection (no. unknown). He perished in the camp on 22 August 1942.
22 August 1897 | Pole Stanisław Tokarski was born in Krakow. Engineer of roads and bridges.

22 August 1942 | A transport of Jews deported from occupied Yugoslavia arrived at #Auschwitz. After the selection 110 men and 86 women were registered in the camp as prisoners. The remaining people (their number is unknown) were murdered immediately in gas chambers.
Among the deported there were members of the Herrmann family: Julio (architect), Bela (co-owner of Weisz & Herrmann clothing manufacture), his son Vilim & his wife Edita. None of them survived.
22 August 1942 | Female Jehovah’s Witnesses prisoners employed as servants in SS families houses were transferred from Auschwitz II-Birkenau to Stabsgebäude (staff building) near Auschwitz I to prevent the possibility of SS men and their families contracting typhus.
Because of their religious principles, pacifistic views & their organization’s international connections Jehovah’s Witnesses were persecuted in Nazi Germany.
22 August 1922 | Polish Jewish woman, Sura Ejgier, was born in Opatów. She emigrated to Belgium.
She was deported to #Auschwitz from Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen on 31 July 1943. She did not survive.

He was deported to #Auschwitz from Drancy on 17 December 1943. He did not survive.
