8 August 1895 | A Czech Jew, Jindřich Neugeboren, was born in Prague. He was deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt Ghetto on 28 September 1944. He did not survive.

7 August 1938 | A Dutch Jewish boy, Jacob Vischjager, was born in Amsterdam. In November 1942 he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered after selection in a gas chamber.

7 August 1942 | A transport of 1014 Jews deported from Beaune-la-Rolande in occupied France arrived at #Auschwitz: 588 men and boys and 426 women and girls. After arrival selection made by SS doctors, 214 men and 96 women were registered in the camp. Of these, five men and one woman survived the war. The remaining 704 people were murdered immediately in the gas chambers. Among them was Chaja Krebs who was born in Jarosław.

7 August 1902 | A Polish woman, Helena Sarna, was born in Oświęcim (the city where Nazi Germany stablished the Auschwitz camp during occupation). In #Auschwitz from 1 February 1943. No. 33323 She perished in the camp on 10 March 1943.

7 August 1938 | A Czech Jewish girl, Eva Justitzová, was born in Karlovy Vary. She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt Ghetto on 18 May 1944. She did not survive.

7 August 1866 | Italian Jewish woman, Adele Basevi, was born in Brescia. She was deported to #Auschwitz from Milan on 30 January 1944. She was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

7 August 1920 | A Pole, Franciszek Smółka, was born in Raba Wyżna. A carpenter. In #Auschwitz from 19 August 1942. No. 60013 He perished in the camp on 2 October 1942.

7 August 1913 | A German Jewish woman, Frieda Stark, was born in Berlin. She was deported to #Auschwitz in March 1943. She did not survive.

7 August 1892 | Austrian Jew, Julius Kalb, was born in Vienna. He emigrated to Belgium. He was deported to #Auschwitz from Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen on 30 October 1942. He did not surivive.
