4 June 1901 | Italian Jew, Vittorio Bassi, was born in Venice. He was deported to #Auschwitz from Fossoli camp on 22 February 1944. He did not survive.

4 June 1941 | A Belgian Jewish boy, Rene Spiner, was born in Antwerp. In October 1942 he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber.

4 June 1923 | A Czech Jew, Hanuš Weiss, was born in Prague. He was deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt Ghetto on 1 October 1944. He did not survive.

3 June 1941 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Henriëtte Jacobsen (left), was born in Rotterdam. In August 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz with her elder sister Sara Channah. They were murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

3 June 1935 | A French Jewish boy, Jacques Moncarz, was born in Paris. He arrived at #Auschwitz on 13 February 1944 in a transport of 1,500 Jews deported from Drancy. He was among 1,229 of them murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

3 June 1921 | A Czech Jew, Arnošt Kohn, was born in Bochov. He was deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt Ghetto on 18 December 1943. He did not survive.

1 or 3 June 1904 | A Polish Jew, Izrael Spirytus, was born in Radom. A bootmaker. In #Auschwitz from 6 June 1942. No. 37587 He perished in the camp on 26 June 1942.
