20 May 1930 | A Czech Jewish girl, Eva Winternitzová, was born in Prague. She was deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt Ghetto on 6 September 1943 with her mother Valerie. They both did not survive.
20 May 1885 | A Polish man, Feliks Guliński, was born in Gostyń Wielkopolski. A soldier. In #Auschwitz from 14 May 1942. No. 35434 He perished in the camp on 24 July 1942. image
20 May 1935 | Dutch Jewish girl, Bertha Elburg, was born in Lochem. She was deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt in October 1943. She was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection. image
20 May 1910 | A Polish Jew, Beniamin Feuer, was born in Kolbuszowa. A butcher. In #Auschwitz from 22 October 1941. No. 21880 He perished in the camp on 29 October 1941. image
20 May 1928 | A Czech Jewish boy, Tomáš Klein, was born in Prague. He was deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt Ghetto on 15 December 1943. He did not survive. image
19 May 1881 | Jewish man, Bernard Berenhaut, was born in Cracow (then Austro-Hungary). A merchant. He moved to Berlin and in 1939 fled to Norway. He arrived at #Auschwitz on 1 December 1942 and was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection. image
19 May 1902 | A Pole, Jan Bednarczyk, was born in Masłomiąca near Miechów. An accountant. In #Auschwitz from 25 April 1942. No. 33094 He was shot on 27 May 1942. image
19 May 1938 | A Polish Jewish girl, Debora Klementynowska, was born in Białystok. In 1943 she was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber. image
19 May 1943 | A transport of 395 Jewish men, women, and children deported from Berlin arrived at Auschwitz. After arrival selection 80 men and 115 women were registered in the camp. The remaining 200 people were murdered in a gas chamber.
