He arrived at #Auschwitz on 30 March 1944 in a transport of 1,000 Jews deported from Drancy. He was among 472 of them murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.
11 May 1911 | Jewish man of Polish origin, Josef Grabowski, was born in Poznan. A cantor. He moved to Gleiwitz in Germany. After November Pogrom in 1938, he emigrated to Norway and became a cantor in Trondheim.

10 May 1912 | Dutch Jewish woman, Ester Koekoek-Hakker, was born at The Hague.
She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Westerbork in December 1942. She did not survive.
