4 May 1942 | A French Jewish girl, Annie Dirnfeld, was born in Toulouse. She arrived at #Auschwitz on 4 July 1944 in a transport of 1,100 Jews deported from Drancy. She was among 479 people murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

4 May 1885 | Czech Jewish woman, Eliška Broková, was born in Rokycany. She was deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt on 15 December 1943. She was registered in a family camp for Jews deported from this ghetto. She did not survive.

4 May 1935 | A Hungarian Jewish girl, Evike Goldenberg, was born. In 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber.

4 May 1933 | A Hungarian Jewish girl, Zsuzsika Schiffer, was born in Hatvan. In June 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in Auschwitz.

3 May 1880 | A Polish Jewish woman, Bluma Sternberg, was born in Chrzanów. She lived in the town of Oświęcim (that Germans turned into Auschwitz). In June 1943 she was deported to #Auschwitz from the ghetto in Będzin. She was murdered in a gas chamber.

3 May 1908 | A Romanian Jew, Lionel Almuly, was born in Bucharest. He lived in France. In May 1944 he was deported to #Auschwitz. He did not survive.

3 May 1922 | A Polish man, Tadeusz Szwed, was born in Krakow. He was deported to #Auschwitz on 14 June 1940 in the first transport of Poles. No. 37 In 1944 he was transferred to KL Neuengamme and then to KL Buchenwald. Fate unknown.

3 May 1938 | A Czech Jewish boy, Ivan Fink, was born in Brandýs nad Labem. He was deported from Theresienstadt ghetto to #Auschwitz on 23 October 1944. He was murdered in a gas chamber with his mother Marie.

3 May 1930 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Meriam Kok, was born in Amsterdam. She arrived at #Auschwitz on 6 December 1942 in a transport of 811 Jews deported from Westerbork. She was among 795 people murdered in gas chambers after the selection.
