It’s done! 72 hours of work and by far the biggest project l’ve taken on by myself! Even though he isn’t on social media, I have to give wife’s grandpa a huge shoutout. He and I have built many things together (a poker table back in high school, a deck, new top and rails and steps on another deck, a ceiling, bookshelves, and many more) and I couldn’t have done this without all of the knowledge I gained in those other projects. Now, we wait for eggs. lol

Overprotective parents raise anxious kids. They send the message that the world is dangerous, nobody can be trusted, and that they are not equipped or competent enough to raise them to be independent.
