Ava had a little burst of playful energy. She gets so easily distracted that she went from rolling on the floor with her mouse toy to leaping into the air when she saw a fly. She looked a bit disoriented afterwards like she didn’t know what to do with herself 😆 #cats

It’s a glorious 17°C right now after a 30+°C day yesterday. The neighbourhood birds are loving it and singing the praises of rain and cooler weather. I haven’t heard the cardinal sing midday in many weeks but he’s been giving me a concert this afternoon. Even Ava relaxed a bit and let me sleep a bit more than she has in a couple of months. I haven’t felt this rested in ages.

I got my epic loot box from @npub170e8...fmce “Britt Builds 3D” and my inner child is ecstatic! Kitty skull for me and crow skull for my brother. I’ve never had 3D printed anything before and I didn’t expect kitty to have a smooth surface (I love petting the teeny ears and the soft butt 😄). I’ve also never used fidget toys before and I’m now hooked on the dragon scale spinner ring. I never would’ve thought to pick that one but it was Britt’s idea and I’m thankful. I also never bought anything from Etsy before but my Fedi friends are so creative I couldn’t resist. Ordered on Monday and got my little package this morning.
