I had my phone at 50% battery at 1AM and only 10% in the morning and upon further investigation I narrowed down the culprit to Amethyst which was attributed by Android itself to contribute to 98% of aforementioned drainage. Now I use my social media like we used to use email back in 1990s where we would check messages when it was convenient for us and so I simply disallowed Amethyst to run in the background. But maybe that's something that would interest you
