I have the solution for this #paywall conversation.
We use podroll, remote items, and sats as a way to create feeds used as inventory and special move sets (I.e spells). Sats could have like a front end tally end for HP, MP, and Gil. Purchasing items and weapons would be adding those things to your feed with podroll, activating them would create a call and response with the appropriate afflicted feed and do whatever fancy math needed.
