One way of measuring whether Brazilians have embraced a social media is to see which links are sharing memes. There has certainly been a massive uptake in Bluesky links and screenshots being shared since x was blocked. Have journalists also started embedding Bluesky content in their stories? Is WordPress still the best alternative to blogging into the Fediverse, which also allows comments with activity pub compatible profiles? I liked Writefreely, but there's no possibility of comments. And Ghost seems promising, but it's still in the development phase. I'd like just some clean interface, and that I can install on a little server. I wonder why the hell someone decided to create a new protocol for another decentralized social network platform, instead of contributing to Activity Pub, that has been developed for years.
