It's alarming to me how many people, even many Bitcoiners, feel that either they or a government can or should impose their will on others for decisions that an individual makes. Of course there are small exceptions that a community or family might make with regards to those decisions, but that is up to those families/communities if they personally are truly negatively affected by it. Governments at large, who have no stake in the game, should not be doing such a thing. It is also alarming how many people still want to be regulated or ruled over by someone else. Society still has a lot of work to do.

GM Nostr clients should give you the option to hide posts/accounts with a "Report Threshold" of your choice. For example, I could choose that if an account has been reported at least X amount of times by anyone else (OR maybe just reported by accounts that I follow), it should be hidden from my feeds by default. Of course this has potential for abuse. Maybe PoW could be added in some way.
