Faith=believing something to be true with the only evidence being perceivable by those who follow the same faith.
In other words, being really really gullible.
People used to worship the sun. They had faith and believed it was a god. People used to worship the moon. They had faith and believed it was a god.
Then some smarter humans figured out that one was just a star and the other a big rock that orbits the earth.
There are countless such examples of false gods and prophets throughout history and yet each time, the faithful believed they had found the βtruthβ.
I believe more in the human capacity for ignorance and inability to admit when weβre wrong.
But your religion is different, sure.

How much metadata is leaked through posts and images/videos on Nostr?
As a very big fan of anonymity, is there anything I can do to enhance my privacy other than using vpn/alias? I am aware of tor but am not familiar enough with it.
There have been a few occasions where I have wanted to post interesting pictures from travels etc but am concerned about the metadata they may have attached.

People can grasp the fact that pets can be engineered to be docile and obedient.
But humans? Naaah. We have free will and are always at the apex of evolution. We are immune to such basic manipulation. Surely if things got bad enough, weβd recognize it and do something about it right?
