Streamflow Introduces USD+: A New Yield-Bearing Stablecoin on Solana
Streamflow has announced USD+, a novel stablecoin built on the Solana blockchain and backed by U.S. Treasury Bills. This asset is designed to distribute daily yield directly to holders, offering Web3 companies and investors a way to earn passive returns on idle capital without lockups.
USD+ leverages M0’s platform to pass on U.S. Treasury yields, estimated at ~3.6% APY, directly on-chain. Yields are distributed daily as additional tokens. The stablecoin maintains a $1 peg, is fully composable across Solana's DeFi protocols, and features transparent reserve holdings verified by the M0 Protocol. Streamflow aims to optimize on-chain treasury management for projects, allowing easy swaps from USDT or USDC to USD+. The developer previously achieved a $2.5 billion TVL with its token management tools. A waitlist for early access is now open.
