Been looking into debit card options that I can give to my kids and load their allowance onto. Probably going with sponsored accounts because not only can I pay them that way but they can also learn about investing and Bitcoin as well. Seems to be the best option.
Finally caved and picked upba new phone. Pixel 8. Will probably just pay it off nedt month so thwtbI can get it unlocked and remove all the Google bits vs just disabling what I can.
My wife dropped her phone and it finally died this time. I picked up a POCO X3 NFC a few years ago when it released, left it plugged into my laptop after rooting and flashing an AOSP based rom to it and it fell to the floor when I picked the laptop up, breaking the screen and making the digitizer useless. The same day it arrived. Decided to dig it out and spend $50 on a replacement screen vs hundreds on a new device. The surgery was a success.

Been feeling off the last few days and woke up today feeling like I was ran over by a bus and have been super congested. Was going to call out of work but work asked me to come in early because everybody else called out sick. So I went in early. Also went in yesterday on my day off to fill in for somebody who called out sick. Maybe working at the business directly below where I live was a poor choice. 😂
Queen Maeve is getting some much needed rest. A few baths with the medicated shampoo has already made a huge difference. No itching driving her crazy and keeping her awake.
