I took Maeve for her annuals and 3 year rabies vaccine at ShotVet and when I pulled out cash to pay, the guy looked at me like I was from another planet. Asked if I had another form of payment on me because he wasn't sure if it was possible for me to pay with cash. An older lady scoffed at him saying it was ridiculous if I was going to be turned away for paying for a service with money & offered to pay for me. I told her no and thanked her for offering. The guy had to find a superior to ask they accepted cash as payment. They did. Absolutely retarded.
Off to the clinic to get Maeve her rabies vaccine and pick up some medicated shampoo and wipes for her face. Her eyes have almost cleared up entirely, so hopefully this shampoo will clear up her itching and chewing. If not it's another vet bill that I can't really afford. 😮💨
I love her, so I'll drop as much money as needed on fixing her up.

Got a new job at the little market below where I live. The pay is less but but I only need to walk downstairs to get to work, so the savings on the commute basically makes up the difference. Plus, I've known everybody else who works here for years now. Wasn't sure how I felt about being a cashier and running the deli but it's dead simple and is a super laid back environment.

Happy 15th birthday to my oldest daughter. Crazy seeing her be a sophomore already. Makes me feel old at the age of 34!
