The UK Information Commissioner's Office told Imgur a couple of weeks ago that it was intending to fine Imgur. In unrelated news, Imgur has now blocked traffic from the UK. According to the ICO: > Imgur's decision to restrict access in the UK is a commercial decision taken by the company.

Someone asked me today if I had ever done online dating. I have not. I have dated people that I met online, and indeed am married to someone that I met online. But never "online dating". It is one of those things that sounds like it might be fun - like speed dating - but in practice probably is not. Plus, given my aversion to third party proprietary services, even if I were looking to date, I'd likely not do it anyway.

I sometimes miss the excitement and buzz I felt when a new device was coming out. Now, I still enjoy my computers and tinkering, but they feel "feature complete" to me. I am not looking forward to anything particular being released, or wondering when something will have a particular widget available for it. I sometimes miss that.
