I haven't read through the thread yet, but the importance of getting actual borosilicate glass cannot be overstressed.
However, I'm not sure that depending on the branding printed on the product will continue to be reliable.
I'm going to read through this thread now, as see if anyone has mentioned videos explaining and demonstrating how to test the glass yourself, something to do with refraction something something. Also, it has to be the right color.
