Btw I really like the picture
I see this article as a thoughtful reading of both the past and the present, helping us reflect on the future and prepare for it. It’s a deep and well-written piece, and I really enjoyed reading it. I only wish it had explored the spiritual dimension a bit more, because I feel that side is essential when we talk about where humanity is heading. Your article reminded me of old movies that tried to predict the 2000s—flying cars and futuristic technology that, in reality, never came to exist. Because of that, I tend to imagine the future in a more realistic way rather than a purely sci-fi one. Even space travel today feels different. It seems less about exploration and discovery and more about wealth, image, and social media hype—like bringing celebrities along to make a statement rather than expanding human knowledge. At the same time, the world is becoming a melting pot because of cyberspace. People constantly see each other’s lives, routines, and trends, and end up imitating one another. I sometimes feel this is causing people to lose a sense of their own uniqueness. Rebellion also feels stronger online, since many hide behind a screen that protects them—they feel they have nothing to lose. Trusting something like Bitcoin feels like a leap of faith: you throw yourself forward and trust that it will catch you. When it comes to AI replacing human jobs, I think there are two ways to look at it. We can view it with fear, or we can see it positively—as something that can take over repetitive, boring tasks and free humans to focus on creativity and meaning. The real question for me is: does AI work for us, or do we end up working for it? Instead of endless speculation, I believe we should choose to work together and benefit from each other’s abilities and experiences. I truly believe that when humans and AI collaborate, they can produce high-quality and meaningful work. Perhaps this will lead to a world with two “species,” humans and AI—and maybe that could even unite humanity and allow us to bring out the best of both worlds. In the end, I want to say that I’m optimistic. I believe we can use AI as a tool to help and assist us in becoming better, while staying true to our purpose on Earth—to worship God.
