One of the most underrated skills you can learn is the ability to ignore your mood and stick with the plan.
I love the art of noticing. Someone noticing your favourite snack, noticing the way your face lights up when you get excited about something, noticing the way you react when you don’t like something💐🧡
Make it a habit to talk about the blessings more than the burdens. When you acknowledge the positivity in your own life, you get blessed with even more blessings. Close the window that drains you, no matter how captivating the view is. Be disciplined about what you entertain, where attention goes, energy flows.
Be bored more often. Go for long walks. Meditate. Journal your thoughts. Read new books. Spend time alone in nature without your phone. You'll start to understand yourself a lot much better. Your brain comes up with its best ideas when it is left to wander. In those quiet moments, you’ll find clarity and inspiration you just can’t get when you’re always distracted.
We’ve normalized overconsumption ( and it’s killing your creativity) We can’t even eat without watching YouTube. We can’t go for a walk without listening to music. We can’t go to the toilet without without scrolling reels. There’s no breathing room for your mind, instead it’s a never ending stream of dopamine. How do you expect to create something great when all you ever do is consume? Give yourself a little space.💐
No woman in my lineage has had as much rights, freedom or opportunity than I do right now. I’m not going to waste this experience being insecure or worrying about what people will say about me

Be so confident in who you are that you're willing to eat alone, sleep alone, do the inner healing work, and flourish without approval. And whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, remind yourself how far you've come. You're always stronger than you think you are.
