Unfortunately for me, the specific colors of turkeys I breed do NOT breed true.. That means I have to hatch as many eggs as possible to produce just a handful of birds that end up being the correct color.. I hatched out over 120 poults last season lost abt 25-30% of them withing a week of their hatch dates(poults are notoriously difficult to keep alive during their first month)and only 4 or 5 made the cut so I ended up with a TON of birds to get rid of! I've already sold quite a few, but theres still quite a few that need to go. ASAP, these fat lards don't stop eating, and going through 650lbs of feed every 2-3weeks is NOT the business. Especially when the 2024 breeding season is starting!
Sooooo, if anyone is interested in naturally reproducing turkeys that are bred and raised right here in the middle of Southern California on NON-GMO feed grown by local southern CA farmers that contain ZERO additives/fillers/etc... (I do NOT administer any type of antibiotics, steroids, supplements, etc... unless I need too) Ya really can't get any natural/cleaner/higher quality turkey meat unless you go out and hunt one yourself...
*These were all hatched last year in 2023, so some females have already started laying, the other will start literally ANY day.*
