Then notes that people are getting older and just dying in prison, and noting lower incarceration rates of young people - without mentioning decriminalization of lots of crimes - like shoplifting, drug use, and elimination broadly of misdemeanor enforcement.
Anyone who has seen teens storming a Walgreens, or observed homeless camps littered with needles - any such person knows the picture isn’t so rosy.
