I enjoyed the #TheOrville, but sometimes, it tended to address social issues half baked - almost afraid to delve deeper for fear of losing its audience. One episode more than any stands out for me in that it had the potential to be brilliant but ended up superficial, rushed and somewhat disturbing. The episode was season three's "Twice in a Lifetime" . Here is a thread on why it failed so miserably because it never addressd the real core of its narrative - The Wanda Maximoff Comparison. ๐Ÿงต image
#Irish President, Michael D Higgins says outlould what other leaders are afraid to. The #UN has the power collectively to stop the #genocide by establishing a humanitarian corridor. We can't go to war against the #Israeli military regime but we can stop them from killing any more #Palestinian children if we want to. Demand your government do something now. What were the parents thinking though? Who allowes their 15 year old daughter to work in a hotel were middle aged men are well known to frequent? I'm from Ireland and in the 80s, I knew about #Trump and his reputation so it's not as if it was some kind of secret. It seems strange to me that parents are somehow absolved of responsibility for their children's lives to be so devastatingly ruined. #EpsteinFiles image
