We need feasibility studies done around how many large commercial solar installations in South Australia 🇦🇺 aren’t being used on weekends as the commercial space is closed. I’ve driven past 6 today in a 5km radius. Would it be profitable to have #bitcoin  mining ⛏️ rigs built on site to monetise the excess energy being generated rather than send it back down the transmission lines for the energy utilities to attempt to balance? Even if they came online Saturday morning and went offline Sunday afternoon. That’s got to be better than the 5c per kw/hr you get for sending it back. Sporting 🏀 clubs would be another good one to consider.
