I didn't drink alcohol until my late 20s, so I am deliberately exploring different spirits and cocktails to see what I missed out on. I asked for recommendations on rum and someone suggested DiplomΓ‘tico Reserva. It is delicious! On ice, with ginger beer and lime, or coke. Great stuff.
I thought I'd try some Bundaberg rum for comparison, and holy hell this is vile. It tastes like paint stripper. Bleugh. Does anyone have a suggestion for making it drinkable?
