If you have a Windows 10 PC and don't feel like scrapping it, or are unwilling to spend hundreds on a new PC full of Microsoft AI, dark patterns and bloat, I installed ZorinOS on an old Dell machine that was £85 on eBay, added Zoom and LibreOffice from Zorin's software centre, and my 80yo mum is very happy with it - it feels familiarly Windowsy. (Other Linux flavours -distros, I believe the cool kids say- are available).
