Not the usual “lower your brightness and shut down all network connections”, because that works, but it’s not really a solution :) So, I tackle TLP (the easy way), GPU acceleration in the browser (seriously that’s a big potential drain), moving online video to H264 (not all GPUs can decode VP8 or 9) and more!

The more I play #Warhammer40K 10th edition, the more I think the game system is disappointing. I just find the « rule stacking » that is encouraged in this edition to be illegible when fighting your opponent. Each unit has a special rule, their attached characters have special rules on top, your army and detachment add extra rules, and stratagems give even more variance.

If I enjoyed the story and general feel of the FF7 remake but really disliked the combat, is it worth it for me to play the 2nd one that just came out?
