More sats in our family S₿R than we had yesterday. SHSS

A few hours ago my wife and I became first-time grandparents. Our daughter, grandson and son-in-law are all doing great. To celebrate the event, we bought him some ₿ representing the month, day and year of his birth. The sats are his for later. Right now, we’re only asking that he stay hungry & stack naps. 🧡

Today was the moment it hit me - (while listening to @Jeff Booth for the 100th time). I’ve been looking at the ₿ picture upside down the entire time. 🫡

Stepping on a plane headed to Hawaii is always one of the best of the year. Stepping on the return flight is always pretty tough. Grateful for the time in paradise, though. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.

Today, I felt the earliest sense of autumn in Utah.

Me: “Calling multiple quail a covey instead of a quaalude seems like a missed opportunity.” Wife: “Maybe we don’t need to walk the dog together EVERY night.”

Today I used a sick day and played 18 holes of golf with some buddies. Touched grass, soaked up the sun, and strengthened long-time friendships with some good dudes. Best decision ever.
