I'm starting to understand the Zyn hype; it seems like a superior way to consume nicotine, much better and safer than cigarettes, and possibly even better than Juul. It's a bit harsh on the gums, but that might be because I'm using it for the first time. Note: If you don't use nicotine, I'm not recommending it. I'm just sharing my experience.
Pirates of the Caribbean without Captain Jack Sparrow 🤦‍♂️ It's another example of a corporation having no idea what the people want. I mean, this makes no sense. They should just create some other title for it; it's a completely different story. 🤷‍♂️ https://image.nostr.build/4d83c0546d7a9486ca0cee5d71bb5c971370db2c61316981151dece0412c6c51.jpg#m=image%2Fjpeg&alt=Verifiable+file+url&x=89371fd011d0fde6e4ba85c8c9489f284062abc9b64807e7bc1091aa0a3f27bb&size=182769&dim=1080x1259&blurhash=%7B4B3veuO0%24yDY4%7D%3F4UM%7C02-9%3B1RPQ-Efx%5BoIq%5BIUNtxGIVR%3A%25Lo%7D%7EVpIo%24EMyC%3DwE2V%400M%252r%3D%24z-S9%5Bs%2BRj%2BtRjocS3E2w%7CtRozspaiNHNHoMogbHV%40PAf%25xG%24%25x%5BRjRPt7rrsTRkS4nht7s%3ANG&ox=4d83c0546d7a9486ca0cee5d71bb5c971370db2c61316981151dece0412c6c51
Important Nostr Tip: Always keep following new people, especially those you interact with. Build your own network. See it as an opportunity to take back control of what you are allowed to see. Unlike legacy social media platforms, they don't have this privilege; technocrats and the government decide for them.
Edward Snowden explains the very important distinction between right and wrong, and legal and illegal.
If clients could add a simple 'trending hashtags' section with basic Web of Trust (WOT) for spam filtering and relevant recommendations, it would bring much more fun to Nostr. It would make it easier to create new trends, facilitate organized discussions, and be especially beneficial for new users. I understand there some challenges, but I believe the effort would be absolutely worth it.
Today, while reading about the Administrative Aspects of Napoleon, I inadvertently delved into a fascinating rabbit hole surrounding "compound interest-based loans," also referred to as "usury." Napoleon was strongly against it. It appears that throughout history, many civilizations, both Christian & Islamic considered usury sinful and even illegal. Yet, in our modern era, entire economies are built upon it. I'm starting to believe that perhaps they knew something we have since forgotten. Don't you have any opinion around it? I'm still learning 🤔
