Major FEM workbench improvements for FreeCAD 1.0 FreeCAD 1.0 brings a true revolution. But apart from the TNP mitigation, built-in Assembly workbench, material handling rework, and major Sketcher improvements, there’s a less common module that received many updates – FEM.  In fact, it’s one of the workbenches that changed the most. The second release candidate of FreeCAD 1.0 is out We’ve just released FreeCAD 1.0rc2, builds are already available for downloading on GitHub. The update is coming with just bugfixes. The number of issues blocking the final release has been circling around 6-8 for the past few weeks and only went as high as 13 after we released rc1. We are currently at just 8 blockers.  Unless there’s #Releases
