Last week, some members of the #Kdenlive core team met in Amsterdam for a short sprint to plan some actions for this year. One of the highlights was a visit to the @npub1k5u9...hg3t foundation. Thanks @npub1daq2...zyx5 for receiving us.
The second maintenance release of the 24.12 cycle is out with multiple bug fixes. Notable changes include fixes for crashes, UI resizing issues, effect stack behavior, proxy clip handling, and rendering progress display, along with improvements to Speech-to-text in Flatpak and macOS packages.
The next major release of Kdenlive brings a 300% performance boost for generating audio thumbnails, along with higher-resolution waveforms for greater precision and a refactored sampling method that accurately renders the audio signal. This remarkable work was done by @npub1cxk2...a793 and was made possible thanks to your generous contributions to our fundraiser campaign.
