πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ CHINA BUILT A ROBOT WITH A HUMAN BRAIN Chinese scientists grew a cerebral organoid β€” a mini brain made from human stem cells β€” and connected it to a robot. Not just for show: the brainlet controls physical movement, dodges obstacles, grabs objects, and even shows signs of synaptic plasticity β€” meaning it can learn and adapt based on experience. They embedded it into a brain-on-chip system, combining neural tissue with silicon circuitry β€” essentially a hybrid bio-digital processor. This could revolutionize neuroscience, drug testing, and AI development. But it also drags us straight into Blade Runner territory: machines that don’t simulate thought, but actually have it. The ethical red flags are everywhere: What counts as consciousness? Where’s the line between tool and entity? Are we growing minds to serve machines? Cool? Yes. Chilling? Also yes. Toledo, Ohio man says his Apple Watch saved his life after suffering from a stroke during a workout. Derick Gant now says he has fully recovered after suffering from a stroke back in July. Gant was jump roping when he decided to push himself a little further than he was used to. "I actually did it. I went about 1 minute and 15 seconds," he said, recalling the moments before he collapsed to the ground, according to WTOL 11. "I was lying there, not really knowing what was going on. I couldn't really move my left leg or my left arm." Gant says his Apple Watch detected the fall and displayed an alert, asking if he needed help. After realizing he was in serious trouble, Gant tapped 'Yes.' "I tapped the watch and said, 'Yes, I need some help,' and the watch called all of my emergency contacts. It called 911."
