The X toxic bitcoin influencer playbook... 1. Post pic of steak and eggs, adding that it is the BEST BREAKFAST EVER. 2. Criticise Strategy's strategy (extra points for posting charts and saying 'mNav' a lot) 3. Do a 48-hour fast (+ tell us about it in excruciating detail) 4. Praise Daddy Saylor (extra points for posting charts and saying 'mNav' a lot) 5. Accuse a rival influencer of having a 'fiat mindset' 6. Comment 'no noise; pure signal' on your fav podcast to get invited on the show. 7. WRITE IN ALL CAPS 8. Create a megathread to dox the owner of a long-dormant wallet that just 'woke up'. 9. Talk shit about core devs, Luke Jnr, or both. 10. Create an ingenious influencer name by using your nationality followed by 'Hodl'. ... What else would you add?
Did you know, I wrote a book about time? Fun fact: nobody knows what time actually is. At the quantum level, it even disappears. Anyway, this book presents fifteen possibilities of what time is - all bound into one compelling narrative. Troubled philosopher Luca Cangemi wrestles with the fabric of time in a lecture that will transform the lives of every person in attendance: a grieving mother desperate to finish her degree, an immortal delivery driver, a psychonaut hell-bent on documenting her trips, a boy who dreams of living on Mars, and many others. They all discover something incredible about the nature of time. Will you discover it too? This novella will interest future seekers, metaphysical deep-thinkers, sci-fi philosophers, and time-travel aficionados. *** Hope you'll consider it. (It's not about bitcoin, but you can pay in sats if you want)
GM. Our next @BitcoinWalk in Gran Canaria takes us through this interesting old fishing town San Cristobal. It's happening tomorrow (first SATurday of the month). Who will be brave enough for an ocean dip? image

Last month, I turned down two juicy writing projects. Decent pay, with the promise of more work. (This is not a flex). *** Why turn down work in this market? Seems especially reckless as I haven’t been inundated with client work this year. Because I have a low time preference.🧘‍♂️ This is something bitcoin taught me. 👉 Be patient. 👉 Delay immediate gratification in favour of future gains. 👉 Build slowly, and keep your moral foundation solid. These two projects were ‘bitcoin adjacent’ — RWA on ordinals and a VC fund for staking/De-Fi apps. I’m interested in building long-term partnerships with clients. Really getting involved and supporting their mission. And I’ll only do this if I really believe in it. I believe in bitcoin, Lightning, and Nostr products that solve real-world problems. Companies building these champion privacy, self-sovereignty, freedom. Forgive me for saying this, but staking apps and tokenized artwork doesn’t fit into that category. When the right offers come along, I’ll be here. In my intro calls with potential clients I’m always up front. If this isn’t a long-term value-for-value partnership, it’s a ‘no’ from me.🙅‍♂️ I’ve got plenty of other long-term projects I can build (e.g. 21 Futures). Yes, we all have bills to pay and hungry cats to feed, but I know if I sell my morals now, those dream clients won’t ever come knocking. For now, I’ll keep thinking long-term. Yours truly, Totally human writer. P.S. I once turned down a potential client who took our onboarding call in the back of a shared taxi. 🤣 Not cool!
