Today I became a full independent registrant member without restrictions with my provincial psychotherapy regulatory college.
I am relieved, but not without conflict.
Real-world regulatory colleges do not accomplish their intended mandates or come close to their ideals. In my observation, they are often just another example of a way-too-big over-extending government into all aspects of life. Freedom is sacrificed on the altar of safety.

Outside confirmation is good and necessary, actually. You never know if you can trust your own observations without it. π
