I really hate nationally televised games. None of the national announcers ever give Philadelphia teams any respect. We’ve had two nights in a row of announcers clearly rooting for the Braves. Beat them both nights, so fuck em. But what I don’t understand is why there is no pre or post game show locally. What does that have to do with who calls the game? This election is a referendum on democracy and nothing more. Everyone knows what they know and believes what they believe. Nothing is going to change anyone’s mind. It will be decided by who shows up to vote in a handful of districts in a handful of states. The fate of the free world hangs on whether or not enough Americans believe it’s worth the bother to save democracy. To say it’s an imperfect system is a gross understatement. #Politics #Election

Why are we still using pennies in the US. It’s a huge waste of money, is it not? I don’t even use coins and I barely carry cash. I suspect I’m not alone. Isn’t it time we move on?
